AWARD CEREMONY AT CLEANZONE ON 24.10.2018
We invite you to submit your practical and theoretical concepts on cleanroom issues and the selection criteria of innovation, sustainability and energy efficiency. Please send these to the CleanroomAcademy in Leipzig as a PDF or by post by 31th July 2018 at the latest. Please complete the documents in English! The Cleanroom Award is open to international entries too.
Once they have been scrutinised by an international jury of representatives from research, media, education and practice, the five most innovative concepts are shortlisted by the middle of September 2018 and the finalists are awarded.
The finalists are invited to CLEANZONE 2018 – the international trade fair and congress for cleanroom technology and announced on the trade fair website.
When preparing your documentation, please note that you should impress the expert jury (representatives from theory and practice) with your application. The focus here is on the aforementioned selection criteria. The presentation in front of the trade fair audience on the other hand should centre more on the benefits for users.
The finalists present their innovations at CLEANZONE 2018 on 23rd and 24th Oktober 2018. The winners are decided by the trade fair visitors’ votes. The Cleanroom Award is presented to the newly selected Clean Award winner by the previous year’s winner. Frank Duvernell also hands over a cheque for the EUR 3,000 prize money.
MED-EL from Austria won the Creative Prize for the second time. This time with awell-considered colour concept in their clean rooms where cochlear implants are produced. The Farbstudio Schleicher (colour studio from Alfred Schleicher) with Cordula Bahm developed a whole colour world in which the employees feel very comfortable. So well that the office team now finally wants a beautifully designed working environment too. MED-EL had already won the first edition of the Creative Prize. That was a great motivation to "keep going beauty".
Congratulations to the MED-EL team!
